The Society's AGM
(Page Updated March 16th)
Our AGM will take place in the Village Hall on Monday April 14th. Doors will be open from 7:00pm and the meeting will start at 7:30pm.
To quote the Society’s Constitution, “The business of the AGM shall be to adopt the Chairman's report and the accounts, to elect officers and fill vacancies on the Committee, to fix the annual subscription for the ensuing year and to transact any other business detailed in the Notice convening the Meeting”.
The meeting will be open to all members of the public, but only members of the Society can vote on any proposals raised at the meeting.
You are invited to stay after for a glass of wine or soft drink and light refreshments to carry on the discussions or simply to socialise.
Why not come along and find out more about your local Society?
The current committee members are:
Andy Renshaw Chair
Malcolm Neave Treasurer & Membership Secretary
Jane Plummer Flower Co-ordinator & Minutes Secretary
Tony Hoare Member
Alan Aburrow Member
This is a small committee and we would welcome volunteers to join us. Do think about this, as the more we can share the work out, the more we will be able to undertake and make a difference to the local community.
